Café Intermezzo and RA sushi are just some of the restaurants we have came to love in midtown Atlanta. As most Georgians know Café Intermezzo has been around for a long time and is known for their desserts and strong coffee. The new location is a girls dream with pink decor and quotes from various writers on the walls. RA sushi is a hip and bright spot with every type of sushi you can think of, the wait staff are very friendly and have a good sense of humor. They are really helpful about telling  you what's good and what you can do without. Also, midtown has plenty of clubs/lounges to choose from after dinner or just to enjoy the night life.

St.Louis Saturday

Last Saturday we took a road trip to St. Louis! Our first priority was to eat at Sweetie Pie's, if you watch Oprah's channel OWN then you have seen the show. Sweetie Pie's is a Mississippi style restaurant, so we were excited to try some authentic southern food. When we arrived the line was wrapped around the building and it was 30 degrees and windy outside, yet everybody in the line said the food was worth the hour or more wait.

St. Louis is only an 8 hour drive from Minnesota and Atlanta, so it's a great weekend getaway. It has activities for everyone such as: Washington Ave, Laclede's Landing for drinks and live music, take a your inside the Gateway Arch, catch a game at Busch Stadium, or take the kids to Six Flags! The possibilities are endless, St. Louis is most definitely a must visit.

The Forum

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

~Walt Disney~

We are always looking for new places to explore and experience so when we stumbled across the Forum in Norocross, we were pleasantly surprised. The forum has a lot of different stores and restaurants. We loved Trader Joe's it has tons of fresh and healthy food choices, and it's very affordable.

Our brother recently celebrated a birthday, so we suggested that he have his birthday dinner at Aomi a Japanese hibachi. We all enjoyed it, the drinks were good and the food was even better!  We are really excited about shopping and tasting our way through the Forum.

Trying to stay active is an everyday goal, we go to the gym so much it feels like it's our second home! We needed change and a little excitement.

Stone mountain has been a national site for nature lovers, hikers and people who love history. Saturday we decided to take a trip to the top of the mountain which is 1 mile. Then just for fun we walked around the whole mountain. We can officially say we now know the definition of jello legs! If anyone is looking for a good workout or just need to get a breathe of fresh air this is an ideal location. Live a little and take chances life is too short!!
