The El Felix

Cinco De Mayo is right around the corner, and we think El Felix is a great place to enjoy the festivities. They have a few different types of margaritas, we recommend the Texas margarita. The chips were made fresh and two types of salsa gives you options. We went as a family so that we could all get a variety of entrĂ©es. We decided on chicken enchiladas with a fried egg, steak tacos al carbon, vegetable chilis rellenos and  steak tacos. The El Felix is located in the Avalon in Alpharetta so you can shop, eat and sight see.

Happy New Year!! If you know  us Colesisters  personally you know we have a little brother (Trenell) ... Well he has joined our team!

During Christmas break Trenell and his wife went on a road trip to Dallas,Texas. While there they visited the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, it's a must see travel spot  during the holiday season because of its indoor Lone Star Christmas displays. It is said to have over 2 million Christmas lights! While he was there they also ate dinner at ZEPPOLE Coastal Italian Restaurant. The Gaylord has several  restaurants, shops and  activities to entertain all ages.

Did you know bourbon could help you lose weight?!

Over the weekend we tried out this theory at the bourbon Bar/Southern Art, It's located in the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. They offer so many kinds of bourbon it's hard to choose. The Menu has classics like shrimp and grits or grilled salmon with root vegetables for the healthy eaters.  If you haven't been there try it out, it's a great place for girls night or date night!

Cirque Daiquiri Bar

Hello friends! Please excuse our long absence we were under construction.

Last weekend we went to Cirque it's a Daiquiri bar similar to Wet Willies, but with a more grown up atmosphere. They  have a variety of flavored daiquiris and a full bar, and the menu has everything from wings to seafood platters. What we really enjoyed is that they offer 2 for 1 drink specials before 8 pm.

We are always looking for new places to go to in the Atlanta. A friend suggested we try a new place called Tacos and Tequila.

When we went it was the opening week, so they had a lot of drink and food specials. The menu is Mexican inspired entrees and desserts, and of course a major of the cocktails include Tequila!!

If you guys know of any places we should go to, please comment and let us know!

Gatlinburg, Tennessee is known for their picturesque mountains and luxurious cabins.  About 4 hours away from Atlanta this city has a Vegas vibe to it but with more activities that are family oriented. We had the chance to go white water rafting five miles up the pigeon river, with only a paddle and life vest. One of the best experiences ever! Later in the evening you can take a trip down to the next city called Pigeon Forge, where there is plenty of games and carnivals for the whole family. Just make sure to ride the Ferris wheel!

We are always searching for fun things to do on the weekends. Everyone knows Atlanta has some of the best festivals and activities in the summertime. So when we heard about the Atlanta Street Food Festival we knew it was a must do. The Festival was located in Piedmont park and it had all the popular food trucks in Atlanta. We would definitely go again next year, but just at a later time in the evening.  To cool down from the heat we decided to go to Wet Willies to have  our favorite frozen drink the superwoman!
